Summary/Abstract: Strategic control system is the condition for the effective strategy implementation process. It completes the strategy creation process through cascading the strategy onto the implementation activities and through delegating tasks to the executors. The examined cases prove that there are diverse strategy control mechanisms present in companies, from totally intuitive to strictly formal. It seems that regardless of the specifics of the company, there is a need for a systematic, automated strategy control process, involving many people, including the board. It should encompass both the strategy revision and control of the strategic programs and planned tasks and project.
