Summary/Abstract: The intention of the author is to prove the thesis that knowledge repository can be used as a tool for managing the social capital in a company. The conducted analysis shows that knowledge gathered and catalogued in a repository, and then made available in a desired form, strengthens the social capital of the company allowing for the more effective management of it, i.e. more efficient and more effective shaping of each of its basic constituents: the flow of information, confidence, as well as interpersonal social relations. The research is a case study.
