Summary/Abstract: Golo Bardo is one of the three regions (Golo Bardo, Gorni Devol and Gora) in Albania with Bulgarian minority. The region is situated in the east part of the country next to the border with Macedonia. The Bulgarians in Albania are concentrated in several villages, one of which is Steblevo. In the period July-August 2004 the Cava Club “Helictit” undertook an expedition in the region of the village. Side by side with the cave researches was made an attempt to collect folklore materials. 10 songs were recorded, sang by Sabri Murati, born and citizen of Steblevo, and Dushan Raiku, born in Steblevo and citizen of the town of Duras. Here are published only texts of the songs, worked over by Dr. Veselka Toncheva from the Institute of Folklore – Bulgarian Academy of Science. This is a preliminary message and aims to publish these songs without analyzing the characteristics of the speech and musical language, which are subject of interest to other authors in other article.
