Summary/Abstract: Aim of this paper is to find and describe the different legal situations, located in the famous Czech fi lm Ball lightning. After abstraction these situations follows their subsumpce under different provisions currently in force and effective legislation. The central part of the article deals with the institute barter contract (§ 611 of Act No. 40/1964 Coll., The Civil Code, as amended) and its differentiation from the institute flat exchange taking place on the ground of agreement of tenants with the consent by landlords (§ 715 et seq. The Civil Code).
