Summary/Abstract: The animated soap opera the Simpsons includes several scenes in which the authors use the space of a humorous series to parody some features of American political life. These features also allow a constitutional reflection – particularly the elections, electoral campaign, and methods of its management and also the functioning of the U.S. legislation. At the same time, there can be found many common elements with the conditions in the Slovak Republic.
