Summary/Abstract: The main goal of the research in this paper is the protection and pro-motion of human rights based on international acts and documents. Torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment of people are prohibited and represent the most serious violation of human rights and for these reasons a number of measures are necessary to strengthen the protection of persons deprived of their freedom of torture and other forms of inhuman or degrading treatment or torture in order to achieve the objectives of the Convention against Torture and another kind of cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment and punishment.
