Summary/Abstract: The modern way of life needs a well-organized and professional administration with a clear structure, with specific tasks and way of acting and regulated relations in order to perform works for the protection and security of the public interest. The word administration is derived from the Latin word Administratio, composed of the words ad "to" and ministratio, "serving" or "rendering service"; Public administration is a set of bodies and organizations (state and non-state functional and territorially decentralized), which perform certain administrative activities. From the above we can conclude that the administration is very important for the functioning and progress of society. The system of public administration in the Republic of Macedonia constitutes the core of the state administration in the three branches of the state administration bodies (legislative, executive and judicial power-including the local administration), while the administration in the activities of public interest is covered by a broader concept of administration.
