Summary/Abstract: The phenomenon of globalization in its complexity, from economic, political and cultural aspect is analyzed in this paper. The complexity of the phenomenon of globalization is in connection with the changes of the identity, more precise, the influence of the globalization on the building of the local identities, i.e. the processes of hybridization. In that context the author puts the question of the influence of the supra-territoriality and trans planetary in destroying of cultural differences, and loosing of the specificities of the local culture. It is said in that context that the globalization has heterogeneous and homogeneous effects. There are complete opposite opinions on the fact what should be the effects over the cultural integration and cooperation on the local level; from further political and cultural segmentation of the entities, language and cultural to strengthening of the homogenization and cleaning the differences, regionalization and integration.
