SOCIO-PROFESSIONAL MOVEMENTS IN MACEDONIA

Summary/Abstract: The work analyses the socio-professional movements in Macedonia based on the results of an empiric research realised in 1990. The mentioned results are аѕ follows: The degree of generation movements is extreme in abandoning the agricultural occupations in "upper" level, mainly in labour and а part of unmanual professions; the elder child's occupation inheritance (in the research) shows а hardened mobility; the latest occupation domination over the primary one is highly expressed; the educational structure of the examined shows that higher educational level of the child is stricktly conditioned of the educational level of the parent; the professional occupation diretcly influented by the educational level; an university degree provides оccupating the leading and crucial positions.
