Summary/Abstract: In the research campaigns carried out in the Lipovan villages - after 2000 until now - we were able to gather information about the organization of the interior space at the beginning of the last century, but also to find changes and permanences that can bring more knowledge and understanding about the most numerous minority from Northern Dobrogea. Habits, unwritten rules are transmitted from generation to generation about perednia hata (front room), sențî - porch, spalnia hata (bedroom). Located in a multiethnic space for more than four generations, the Lipovans are in constant dialogue with other ethnic groups (especially Romanians and Ukrainians). Actions taken to preserve or not one's own identity, to value or not other identities or simply to influence or be influenced by other groups form styles of behavior that we can identify in the case of organizing of the rural Lipovan interior. From this perspective, we intend to deal in detail with the organization of the sacred space, of cooking and food consumption, sleeping, storage, etc.
