Summary/Abstract: The post-communist period reopened the possibilities of ethnological research from the ethnic perspective of the Dobrujan population. Thus, we proposed that through the research projects organized by the Museum of Ethnography and Folk Art (MEFA) from Tulcea to contribute to the elimination of knowledge deficit about the ethnic minorities from the studied area, but also to restore the context of the complex reality of today's society, represented by the coexistence of different ethnic identities and beliefs. The specialists from MEFA have tried in their researches to capture the ethnic groups in a very wide manifestation that includes as much as possible of the habits of the inhabitants, thus understanding a wide variety of characteristics between are established complex relationships such as: language, religion, art, morality, law, custom, ideas from all fields of spirituality, norms, values, behavior, style of actions, institutions, folk creations, particular domestic, economic, social structures, etc. Only from this enumeration are understood the complexity of research, the need for long-term research and the impossibility of an exhaustive approach.
