On “Intellectual Flows”: Dialogic Encounters

Summary/Abstract: In this article we present the analysis of mechanisms of the “intellectual flows” that occur when one clashes herself/himself with a “different” culture of thought. The analysis is based on a set of conversations (dialogic encounters) dedicated to revealing mental transformation. In this process the authors are searching for vocabulary/nomenclature that creates favourable conditions for discovering ruptures and “intellectual flows”, aspects of transformational relations (e.g. feeling “the lack”) as well as the tool of filling in “the lack” by the concept of “thresholds” in “intellectual flows”.
