Summary/Abstract: The human world is a world of perceptions and impressions. We perceive objective reality through the sense organs. While gathering knowledge about the structure and functioning of the brain, scientists began to investigate how we see and how the brain processes information provided by the senses. The image of reality in the brain is unique. We perceive the world around us differently at every moment. The article presents the way in which the brain processes information provided by the organ of sight and the image of reality created in a damaged brain.
