SOME ASPECTS OF FORMING THE TERMINOLOGICAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE AGRARIAN SPECIALISTS

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses some aspects of the work on the formation of terminological competence of students of agrobiological specialties in the process of studying discipline "English for Professional Purposes". The concepts of "term", "terminology", "terminological competence", the conditions for the formation of terminological competence are disclosed. The principles of selection of professionally oriented texts on agrobiological topics are considered. The methods and techniques of studying terminological vocabulary used in the classroom for the successful formation of terminological competence of future specialists are described.
