Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the concept of humanistic values and values orientations; the influence of the value system on the formation of the personality of the future specialists of agrarian sector is determined. The author considers the educational potential of the discipline "Foreign Language", which influences on the development of the person's motivation and value sphere. Forms and methods of teaching with the use of value-oriented didactic materials intended for teaching a foreign language at agricultural universities are presented.
