Summary/Abstract: One of the pillars of scientific research is moral integrity. Any scientific approach must comply with national and international legal regulations and the ethical criteria of scientific research. The researcher, according to The European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (2017), has the responsibility to avoid any deliberate fraud and a debt to himself and to other members of society. The moral autonomy and personal responsibility of researchers, born of the power of contradiction, do not affect the freedom of researchers, since the constraint is internal, not external. Every researcher, on his way to excellence, enjoys perfect freedom, since he does not suffer from external interference. He must have a natural inclination toward a certain kind of moral deeds. It is not a question of a veneration of individual liberties, but of the fact that the Good is everywhere. The field of research should not be seen as having its own dedicated ethics. Good supports the system.
