Summary/Abstract: The sale of the inheritance, also known as the sale of inheritance rights, is an integral part of the picture of sales varieties, through which the legislator tried to provide an effective answer to atypical sales, which do not fall within the lines of the classic sales contract. This article sets out some of the most important issues regarding the sale of inheritance rights, proposing a foray into the history of this institution.
