Summary/Abstract: The present paper aims to clarify two concepts often used during the electoral campaigns in the 21st century in Romania, namely political marketing, respectively electoral marketing. Our aim is to analyze the concepts, their evolution over time and the applicability of the marketing mix taken from the commercial marketing and adapted to the political area.
