Summary/Abstract: The paper presents biographical data about the life and work of a priest: Ioan Bulbuc (1847–1917). Born in Mocod, he attended school in his native village, Zagra and Năsăud, and then he studied at the Greek-Catholic Seminary in Gherla. Between 1875 and 1917 he was a priest in Mintiu, but for a short period of time he was also Archpriest of the Beclean District.
