Summary/Abstract: One of the brightest teachers from Năsăud was dr. Ioan Marte Lazăr, known not only as the author of the “Festive Ode”, created on the occasion of the opening, on October 4, 1863 (155 years ago), of the Romanian Upper Secondary Greek-Catholic school, but also as the owner of an extraordinary humanistic culture.
