Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses how the culture and the use of digital technologies can support a change of the training of intercultural competences in the teaching- learning-assessment process, in order to better respond to the needs of the education system. Nowadays, the interconnection between education and culture cannot be analyzed, through the discussion and selection of best practices, without identifying the role played by technology in this process. The integration of digital technology in training programs at all levels, from primary school to higher education and continuing professional development, now applies to everyday pedagogical life being influenced by the intercontextual and intercultural dimensions. Digitalization in education requires drawing the coordinates that, in addition to training and developing the digital skills of educational agents, transpose digital citizenship through ethical conduct, taking into account the social, cultural and philosophical diversity of digital in society.
