INCUBATORS AND THEIR PLACE IN THE INNOVATIVE INFRASTRUCTURE OF BULGARIA

Summary/Abstract: SMEs are of leading importance for the development of the Bulgarian economy. However, their successful operation presupposes the existence of a favorable infrastructure supporting the start of their activity. In this regard, incubators are important. They create conditions for technological renewal and restructuring in economic terms, support the survival of start-ups, their development and growth. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the varieties of incubators and their contribution to the development of innovation infrastructure in Bulgaria.
