Summary/Abstract: The author illustrates Gherea’s phenomenological method by comparing some of his concepts with certain elements of Husserl’s constitutive phenomenology. The applied phenomenology of Gherea reveals the contradictions of common sense, which are determined by passing from the “fictive being”, a kind of impersonal genuine consciousness, to the social being, i.e. the man in the “life-world”; this passing entails the personalization of fictive being’s consciousness and, at the same time, the transformation of temporal reality (actual time of an actual consciousness) into the conventional time of experience.
