Summary/Abstract: This study is part of an academic research project aimed at “French in a scientific and technical context in Algeria”. We are interested in the objectives targeted through university teaching-learning to meet the specific needs of a particular audience. Before proceeding to the curricular analysis of a set of three university training offers, we will first address the status of languages in the Algerian education system. Some key expressions, related to our study, will then be explained. We will close with the presentation of a standard approach to adopt in such specific training contexts.
