Summary/Abstract: This article represents the continuation of a previous publication (Author, 2022). Both studies are part of a university research project. The subject of the project is “French in a scientific and technical context in Algeria”. The case we are analyzing is the French language program intended for students enrolled in the first year at the Institute of Maintenance and Industrial Safety of the University of Oran 2 (Algeria). First, we present the establishment and the training provided. In a second step, we examine the program prescribed by the institution by highlighting relevant points and shortcomings.
