Summary/Abstract: The old books collections are from, especially from organic materials, very hygroscopic, tending to the stability with the environment, giving up humidity, when by loosing water, it tends to dry, or absorbing humidity , when the material tenses. The changes can be caused by sever deterioration, and the humidity absorbed can caused fungicide and bacterial attacks, as well as to appearance of the insects. For a correct Keeping of the bibliophile patrimony, conservation measures must be taken. The sistematical control of the microclimate must be the main activity of every museological custodian.
