Summary/Abstract: In this article, the comedy The Destiny of One Mind (Судбина једног разума), written by the Serbian playwright and writer Jovan Sterija Popovi ć (1806 – 1856), which displays the climax of the debates about Milovan Spasić’s textbook Geography of the whole world (Земљеописаније целог свјета) (1845) is examined. The linguo-cognitive and linguo-pragmatic analysis of the play gives grounds the play to be interpreted as a matter of Jovan Sterija Popović's unique attempt at classifying pseudo-science as a social phenomenon, as well as determining psychology of pseudo-theories.
