Summary/Abstract: The story of the voivode Drashko about his trip to Venice is an object of many literature and textological investigations within the scope of Njegošology. Due to some thematic, conceptual and linguistic features of the poem, we find sufficient causes for its examining from the perspective of the contemporary imagology. The analysis of two translations of the story in question, whose authors are P. Ivanov and D. Panteleev, contributes to outline the mechanisms of the dynamic changeability and the cultural-historical determination in creating stereotypical attitudes.
