Summary/Abstract: The study resulted from a broader qualitative development research that had an introspective approach, and was carried out at the end of 2020, in which 36 students of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Banja Luka and the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Primorska Kopar participated. The aim of the study was to identify and examine the factors that contribute to the resilience of students during the implementation of the online teaching model during the COVID 19 pandemic. The methodically prepared teaching online model is based on writing therapeutic fairy tales for children, with an emphasis on the social-emotional dimension and situational learning in changed life situations. conditions during the COVID 19 pandemic (Šindić et al., 2022). The theoretical framework of this study was resilience, learning in context and fairy tale therapy. Data on the personal experiences and insights of the students during this specially designed learning process were collected through an introspective written interview. Through the thematic analysis of relevant literature and the content of student answers, we singled out three categories (factors) that contribute to students' resilience during the writing of therapeutic fairy tales: ability to process emotions, empathy, altruism, community work, positive perspective: optimism. and faith in the future.
