Summary/Abstract: This paper describes an attempt to use non-parametric tests to evaluate and improve the quality of melaphyre aggregates. According to the authors it allows for more efficient use of machinery and exploitation of machinery and equipment, which durability and reliability should be monitored regularly. Applied appropriately selected statistical methods allow for the analysis of feedback loops: deterioration of the quality − analysis of technical and technological reasons. The systematic assessment of production quality reduces downtimes (which can easily be converted to a financial loss) and prevents the manufacture of aggregate that exceeds the value stored in the standards. The paper presents the example use of Kruskal-Wallis test and the median test in the manufacture of aggregates.
