Comparison of control charts of individual measurements based on general Lambda distribution and Johnson curves

Summary/Abstract: In the statistical process control the assumption of normal distribution is generally applicable while constructing control charts . If the assumption cannot be used, specific methods must be applied. This paper presents the comparison of control charts using Johnson curves with control charts made using general Lambda distribution.
