Metacognitions and the hierarchical level

Summary/Abstract: This study develops differences between metacognition capabilities – type or hierarchic level. Categories of metacognition capabilities (related to cognition knowledge and cognition regulation) were evaluated using Romanian version of Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI). The results indicated major variables of scoring at two of MAI scales. Also, the results indicate that the scoring doesn’t change by type.
