Summary/Abstract: This article makes a research on the role of age and experience of investigators on their choice of psychology-directed methods in the interrogation of witnesses with amnestic- perceptive difficulties or prone to lying. As age and experience grows, the investigators do not lose their interest in the issues related to the perception and memory of witnesses. They often use the triggering of associations, the chronologic story-telling and the interrogation at the accident site in case of emerging perception-amnestic problems. A part of investigators, when working with fraudulent witnesses, use more direct, pressing methods. Another part of investigators prefer to overcome the cheating with witnesses by means of convincing, emotional influence and tactical combinations.
