Summary/Abstract: The author of the article describes problems a participant in a language communication must encounter if he/she obeys the principles of inclusiveness and wishes to act in accordance with the linguistic norm. Linguistic inclusiveness refers to individuals and social groups discriminated against for features beyond their control, including sex, race, skin colour, sexual orientation, national minority membership, physical fitness, mental condition. Normative problems connected with talking and writing about these groups are considered at various levels of the text organization: semantic-pragmatic, lexical, inflectional, and syntactic.
