Summary/Abstract: Contemporary Eugenics between Achieving Desires and Preventing Disability. The debate on genetic manipulation, human embryo research, cloning and euthanasia have become increasingly more common nowadays. Promising to each individual reproduction of what the best of himself, through genetic selection of embryos destined to become, one day, human beings, science can it even respect one of the principles of medical ethics? Bioethics advertising rules and regulations in order to preserve life, not just to improve it to any price. Could bring technical progress the man in front of its consciousness and humanity? Or the man of the future will be stripped of his ancestors characteristics, must be defined by others? Why talking about eugenics in the context of avoiding or preventing disability? Here is a question that we will try to show that it is not only a scientifical one.
