Occurrence, recognition and counteraction to Bosch CDR software translation defects

Summary/Abstract: Bosch CDR is a mature product that supports a wide range of makes and models of vehicles for crash data readout. Due to wide coverage of the interpreted data and several data sources integrated within a single software product, it is prone to occasional translation and presentation defects. The article is a review of the known translation defects along with conditions for their manifestation and proposition of methods of counteracting these defects.
