Summary/Abstract: The Democrat Party (DP) was remained in power for ten years in Turkish political history and has been a political party that left a serious impact. DP, which existed from 1946 to 1960 and remained in opposition for four years until 1950, continued its power by winning all local and general elections held from 1950 to 1957. Despite winning all the elections, DP started to lose power as of 1957. Thereupon, DP, with the initiatives of Prime Minister Adnan Menderes, formed a structure called Homeland Front in order to strengthen the party again. After the formation of the Homeland Front, there were many people who resigned from other parties and joined this front with telegrams sent to Adnan Menderes and the DP General Presidency throughout the country. Although this situation strengthened the party; but also created an environment for major problems between the ruling and opposition parties. As is the case across the country, many people from Adıyaman, one of the places in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, which was made a province in 1954, resigned from other political parties, especially the Republican People's Party (CHP), and joined this front. With this study named " According toArchive Documents Homeland Front in Adıyaman ", it was aimed to reveal how many people joined this front in the aforementioned province and for what reasons. With the numerical data obtained in this way, it was aimed to reveal how the participation to this front was throughout Adıyaman. In this article, which was prepared by making use of copyrighted works, especially documents obtained from the Presidency of State Archives, document analysis technique was used.
