Summary/Abstract: While foreign language teaching is already well represented on an international level, when it comes to Romanian as a foreign language, we are facing a full process of reorganisation, diversification, and, especially, defining Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. (CEFR). Within this context, the analysis of A1 and A2-level descriptives proves critical in the process of drafting an auxiliary teaching support. The textbook ”Romanian as a Foreign Language. Grammar in Context and Interaction. Levels A1 and A2” closely follows the theoretical concepts outlined in ”Romanian as Foreign Language. Grammar Synthesis. Levels A1 and A2” (authors: Dana-Maria Feurdean, Nora-Sabina Mărcean, Ed. Casa Cărţii de Ştiinţă, 2014) and includes a wide range of exercises adapted to communication needs.
