Summary/Abstract: The formal sources of the law are all those ways, forms, procedures, solemnities, means by which positive law is expressed or exteriorized (such as: customary law, normative act, judicial practice, doctrine, normative contract, etc.). The importance of such forms of exteriorization of the law consists in the fact that they give validity to the legal norms, while expressing positive law in its fullness.
