Summary/Abstract: Two one-volume dictionaries of Bosnian language have appeared recently: Bosnian Language Dictionary, published by the Institute of Language Sarajevo (2007) and Bosnian Language Dictionary by the authors S. Halilovic, I. Palic and A. Sehovic (2010). This paper follows several phenomena which have been the subject of attention of Bosnian and Herzegovinian linguistic publicity and compares their solutions offered in these two dictionaries. We compare the accent forms of particular words, the word forms in connection with particular alternations, then we observe some morphological and formational characteristics of words, as e.g. the nouns with different endings and two-gender nouns, the verbs ending in -irati, -ovati and -isati, the adjectives ending in -ijski and -ioni, etc. Furthermore, we observe the relation to the lexical synonyms and we consider a few more contemporary issues in modern Bosnian and Herzegovinian linguistic reality
