Summary/Abstract: In this study, the author examined the 48 documents known today as dating back from the reign of Vlad the Drowned (June 1530 – ante 8 October 1532). Out of them, 42 were published in 1975 in the collection “Documenta Romaniae Historica, Series B, Volume III”, and in the meantime the six remaining were discovered and published. The Prince’s correspondence with people and institutions outside Wallachia has not been included in the present research. The result of this study is the new dating of ten of the documents. The newly dated documents are listed in Annex I (no. 1 to 10). For other two documents (11-12) I have proposed new dates. Annex II offers an overview of the boyars that composed the princely council and of the changes occurred in high dignities during the reign of Prince (Voivode) Vlad the Drowned.
