Summary/Abstract: This article is a chronicle of the volume “10 ani cu mitropolitul meu, Bartolomeu Anania. Amintiri la capătul dorului” (“10 years with my Metropolitan, Bartolomeu Anania. Memories at the far end of longing”), signed by His Grace Bishop Macarie Drăgoi. His book can be considered a spiritual diary: every page vibrates with the spiritual connection between the teacher and the disciple, wafted by the Holy Spirit, a connection that supports the struggle and development of man in history and beyond. The book can also be integrated into that class of works that evoke the formative years around a mentor or spiritual father. Many of the pages of this book are similar to (the Romanian) Philocalia or to the unique “Romanian Patericon” from the modern age.
