Vasile Avram or the “conscience of the window”. Thoughts on a specific poetics

Summary/Abstract: The article includes reflections on the cultural and artistic thinking and creation of Vasile Avram, a refined poet, playwright, but above all a philosopher – a Christian anthropologist. He was one of the most important thinkers and writers of Blagian tendency. Vasile Avram saw with consternation how today there is a rift between the old world, theocentric and peaceful, and the new world, anthropocentric and technologizing. To this rift he strove to oppose the recovery of the old world in the present. He was always animated by the desire for knowledge. He lived with the intention of bringing the old world with its values back into the light of the present. The article also makes reference to some of his books.
