Summary/Abstract: The article is a voice in the discussion on the essence and importance of educational content in educational programs encouraging children and adolescents to shape attitudes that prepare them for civic life and for peaceful functioning in society. Conclusions: Education in peace has a deep connection with the growing trends towards globalisation, in which migration, difference and pluralism have become key concepts. In this context, education based on education for peace, especially intercultural education, inspiring mutual encounters, exchanges of experiences andviews,can be a constructive response to thedisturbing, dangerous phenomena that characterize modern reality.
