Summary/Abstract: The article examines the problems of literacy and language learning by students for whom it is not a mother. Attention is paid to bilingualism and its manifestations, seeking opportunities for mastering the national language in the educational process. Special attention is paid to the variety of methods and techniques for motivating bilingual students to communicate and group activities. The role of language learning in the context of integration and socialization of the individual is taken into account.
