Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present activities supporting and activating people in the homelessness crisis during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. The adopted research problems relate to the following questions: What is the classification of homeless people depending on their housing situation and what tools are used to create a homelessness prevention strategy? What are the activities supporting people in the homelessness crisis during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic? What are the activities aimed at activating the homeless during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic? Desk research helps to search and analyse the legacy data from existing sources. During the pandemic, people affected by homelessness found themselves in a difficult situation, which „forced” the state and local authorities to take preventive and activating measures, as well as activities aimed at better development and standardization of institutions providing shelter to the homeless.
