Summary/Abstract: The present represents a great challenge on a national, European and international level, a situation determined by the overlap of existing crises (sanitary-epidemiological crisis, energy crisis, social crisis, political crisis) and the high probability of a complex economic crisis that is already looming alarmingly. In many plans, there are exceptional changes in the circumstances in which it was contracted, changes that generate an obvious, unfair contractual imbalance, which require a recalibration of the contractual risks; in this context, inherent reaction - the position of some producers, respectively suppliers who want to maintain or, unfortunately, even increase their profit in the new conditions, is radicalized. The contract, being the fundamental element of the legal relations established in the energy field (producer - intermediary - supplier), we consider that a study on the possibility of invoking unforeseeability in contracts with the object of supplying electricity, respectively natural gas, is necessary, timely and actuality.
