Study on identified and identifiable national legal solutions to reduce the impact of the energy crisis

Summary/Abstract: This material discusses, on the one hand, the opportunity and the need for legislative intervention in the energy sector, in the context of an unprecedented upward trend in prices in the field, and, on the other hand, a detailed analysis of legislative initiatives at the level of Romanian Parliament. Each of the legislative initiatives is analyzed and approached in a swot manner, highlighting the weaknesses, strengths and vulnerabilities of the proposed options in order to identify a normative concept that allows a real protection of the captive consumer and a fair balance of risk distribution among all the actors of the energy equation (producer, supplier, supplier of last resort, consumer).
