Foreign direct investments as the main way of transnational corporations’ investments in Poland

Summary/Abstract: Transnational corporations are one of the most important players in the global economy. They realize their business objectives by foreign direct investment in other countries. Investment capital, new technologies, products and modern management also provide a strong impetus on the economic development. A large value of FDI in Poland contributes to the perception of our country as a state which is foreign investment friendly. In the next years, some actions should be taken to provide log-term benefit of the investment already made, and to attract new foreign investors.
