Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the study is to present selected problems connected with the transition of high schools graduates from educational system to the labour market in the context of (not) adjusting educational offer to the employer expectations. Part one shows the main issues concerning Subcarpathian Voivodeship and part two refers to the federal state of Nordrhein-Westfalen with particular consideration on Ostwestfalen-Lippe region. A synthetic summary of conducted considerations concludes the study.
